Take a Garden Tour for Ideas

Went to the Colleyville Garden Club's Promenade Garden Tour today. Got to meet Toni, a fellow garden blogger, , who's garden was part of the tour. It was 20 degrees cooler in her shady backyard. Amazing.

I took my photos and made a little slideshow of Toni and Dile's yard.  Note: remember how lush the backyard is when you see the "before" photos of their yard.  I can only dream my little trees will one day provide so much shade.  BTW - some of you know I am musically challenged in the video making department.... hum a little tune ...

Let me get a few more chores done in the loft garden and I will share more photos of the Colleyville Promenade.

  1. Very nice, TG. It's was too early for me to hum anything this morning and the video was nice just with the photos. Toni has talent. Thanks for sharing.

  2. What a beautiful tour. I felt cool and relaxed and hummed a very nice bucolic tune with flutes and stuff. People with green thumbs amaze me.

  3. ohhhh, the calendar looks good.

  4. Hey Cindy,

Thank you so much for coming to the tour!! It was so nice to meet you :-) I hope you enjoyed the tour. I had so much fun visiting with everyone and showing them the "before" pics. Now that all of the hard work is done I can just enjoy my garden for the time being :-) Hopefully we won't have a summer like last year. The recent rains sure have been nice. Take care -- come visit again :-)
